I'm excited to see the 4 new lenses. And I think Nikon played this marketing strategy correctly.
55-300 can pair up with existing kit lenses, so kits will effectively cover 18-300.
85 with VR is a great welcome. I'm also interested to see how 24-120 performs. There too many negative reviews about the predecessor such that this lens isn't widely used.
Lastly, 28-300, is slightly faster than tamron's version. Currently,there is a lack of superzoom lenses in the FX market. This should fill the gap for awhile, and I'd hope to see more capable superzooms for FX users.
