I used LCD -1 brightness. However, there were a few shots that were quite off. As in, the camera's LCD shows really nice and warm colours, but when i uploaded it on my laptop, it looks way too cool. Unless i set my laptop's screen to 'gamma correction', it'll suit the camera's LCD. I went to test whether this picture is truly warm or cool on my sister's laptop, and it was cool. Kinda misleading :dunno:
Ok i'm not trying to be fussy, but it'll be good to rectify this 'problem'.

Get a screen calibrator.

Thanks! :)

No, standard, pp the raw afters. Swissotel 55th floor. :)

absolutely agree. for me, this is the only bugbear for the camera.
it kinda confuses and misleads the photographer during difficult WB conditions. i believe the LCD is red-biased. the LCD does not display the NL colours correctly.
wonder if this is also the same problem for the D3...

In fact i think the LCD screen is too hi-res for my liking. Would like it to have that of the D200/D80 on the D300 instead.

Could it be the difference in sensor chip that produces different colours? D300 CMOS and the other models CCD?
