Nikon Announces - Tokyo, March 5, 2013, Tuesday

Real disappointing to see Nikon come out with a toilet-roll tube $450 viewfinder.

I mean you guys can accept and pay for a design like that?

Buy an all metal voightlander.... made by Cosina who also make the Ziess SLR Lenses ( Japan ).

SGD $280 ! :) Thats what I did.

At the size of the lens VR and brighter aperture don't make sense. I rather have a good quality 28mm equivalent f/2.8 lens than one with heavy software correction.

Yawn....... Should of had an f/1.8 or f2.0 Lens in it..... this is no big deal.... X100S anyone.

No, thanks. Too big for a compact camera.

That's why I will be getting the X20 instead of the X100s.
Especially since Fuji claimed that the new 2/3 inch sensor of the X20 is even better than the Sony RX100 or current 12 Megapixel Micro Four Thirds sensors ;)

The X20 is still too big especially with it's non-collapsible lens. At that volume I would rather carry a NEX-5 with a 16mm or 20mm pancake. With the X10 I had a hard time to isolate subjects, it worked already much better with the RX100. A camera is only pocketable for me if I can slip it into the side pocket of my pants. :) The Nikon A seems to fit the bill but I will wait for the next GRD.

Will definitely get it. Have a bunch of older Nikon VFs and this will be a timely update. :).
