The exchange rate between USD and SGD raised significantly since the lens was announced. It was 1 USD = 1.2 SGD in early Jan. And now is about 1 USD = 1.4 SGD....

If SGD continue to drop, lens might be price become more and more expensive. If you wanna buy any lens, buy them now.

Thats a F100 yes, had one once....

Its same size as a D300 body. ( smaller than D800's )

I'll still wait another 4-6 months to ensure its bug free.... and read field reports. ( esp shooting at night with bright light sources in the image area. )

I do notice the VR issue as some of the reviews mentioned. The image is not that sharp under shutter speed 1/125-1/160

Nikon Singapore pricing has been very low lately.. The D7200 pricing, and the 300/4pf pricing. One shop locally quoted me lower then liuels, but they are also waiting for Nikon SG to supply them.

Actually stocks have been limited. Both MS and TK have waitlists. I still waiting for them to get stock

An unker told me one of the usual outlets in the Funan area has to draw stock or sell four P&S Nikon cameras in order to get one piece of this from their supplier.

Maybe now it is more obvious why not everyone can open up a shopfront and start selling cameras the next day. LOL 200 P&S to get one D4 to sell is....best left to the big boys.
