18-200mm + 1 SB800 + 3 SB600...power pack man...
MTL! your dream setup ah? ;)
:bsmilie:

The SB600 cost $350 and the Nikon NC 72mm cost $85. I know CameraWorkshop selling SB600 at $330. I just buy all at one place and cut the time from traveling.

I dont use flash much except people shots which in my case 3 to 5 meters only. The SB800 offer 8meters more and with many more function I may not use for now. Maybe next year after I know the D200 better I will then add SB800 and one more SB600 to my system.

I am from Minolta. Past system include Dynax 9 and 5D, and too many Lens.
AF28-70G
AF80-200G APO HS
AF70-200G APO SSM
AF50/1.7
AF50/1.4
AF100-400
AF100D Macro
AF200G APO HS
AF24-85
AF24-105D
AF17-35D
AF75-300D
Flash: 5400HSS, 3600HSD & 5600HSD

Now in Nikon I found its system different. I need time to get use to Nikon first before buying more accessories.

I have been with Minolta for around 8 years, I hope Nikon would be much of trouble. If Nikon and Canon are Dark Side then Minolta is Jedi?

i'm sure Nikon wouldn't be of much trouble. by meaning of trouble, what kind of trouble are you referring to?
if canon is  ,
Minolta is
1193.gif
,
then Nikon is
220.gif

To nevigate Nikon manue, I find it difficiut compare to Minolta. Minolta has less grouping so what you want to set can group under camera, playback and shooting. Nikon divided into more groups with some of its function spread into 2 groups. Lens not a problem, Nikon have what Minolta have plus more. Now I have AFS18-200, the next Lens maybe AFS12-24 or AFS200-400. I like tele more.

different systems have different menus to nevigate thru. same goes for canon. just takes some time to getting used to. you might also want to consider the 70-200mm f.2.8 VR along with the other lenses mentioned.
