I 've bought some stuff from that shop, they are ok...I think most important you have to know the price first , if the price just a slight higher.. Just buy it.

Checked out price from dynasty sim lim. quoted me $1688 at first, then cut down to $1488, then finally down to $1399. Didn't feel like being ripped off for the lens on CNY eve, so didn't get it. But the boss offered to let me buy the sigma 18-200 first, then once the nikon 18-200 got stock i can go back and return the sigma, pay the difference and get the nikon one. But he didn't quote me how much i would have to top up for the nikon, so again didn't take up the offer. Went over to TK and left my name on their waiting list later. Guess i'm not destined to own this lens anytime soon without getting ripped off. Sigh.

I think you make the right decision ... If you get the Sigma , later you want to change to Nikon and top up the difference that's where the problem comes!!:think: Better wait.. safer...

Yap, agree with King Tiger. Didn't know that TK Foto was open today, if not would have gone down to check out something else.

Don't worry itsybitsyspidy, you will get your lens soon, now the best move is to wait.

OT a bit, does anyone knows when will they be open for business again? Next Wednesday (1st Feb 06)?

Anyways this nice guy @ TK was very helpful even though i didn't manage to get the lens, but bought a bag instead. He told me two weeks ago there was stock(i've been waiting for a month already), and that bout 2 weeks later there'll be another batch of stock again. When he wrote down my name on a notebook i saw at least 20 people in the list, but after the previous batch the waiting queue was down to about 7-8. He told me the next batch will probably be about 4-5 pieces, so i'm crossing my fingers again about it.
