Nikon 16-85 VR pictures

i tried the 18-200vr also.
no the pic,but the feel n quality
the 18-200vr suffers from len creep,especially in the zoom between 135-200 and when zoomin, the feel of the ring is not smooth,at certain point it will sudden feels veri smooth.
mayb it jus mi,but it bothers mi...
i tried the 16-85vr,...n got it.

I made a comparison test of the following lenses: Nikon 18-200, Nikon 16-85, Nikon 12-24 f4and Nikon 70-200 f2.8. Even the test might not look fair, as these lenses are very different with regards to size, weight, zoom range and price, I thought it could be interesting.

I am quite impressed with the Nikon 16-85 performance which is even in the range of the Nikon 12-24.

As I am the first time here, can somebody help me on how to up-load pictures to the messages. It looks like I can only upload pictures from internet.

the lense is going about $860 in cathay from their e-quote

a little too expensive for me i would say.. but the performance of this lens speaks for itself.

Some of my 16-85 VR pics. 2nd got crop. Quality commentably good as portrait. Looking for specialized 85mm (1.8 or 1.4) or Micro VR 105 (micro cum portrait) for proper portrait.
