The House Under the Spider, that's what the building to the right of the picture is called.. The one which looks distinctively different. There is a spider somewhere at the top of the building, but I do not think you can see it here.. We had trouble hunting for it too. The building has many gargoyles. This house is reputed to be the home of the sorcerer Pan Twardowski:

Pan Twardowski (pronounced [pan tfar'dɔfski]) is a Polish folklore character, a sorcerer who entered a pact with the Devil. Similar to the figure of Faust in German literature, Pan Twardowski sold his soul in exchange for special powers – such as summoning up the spirit of Polish King Sigismund Augustus' deceased wife – but unlike Goethe's figure, he eventually met a tragic fate. The tale of Pan Twardowski exists in various diverging versions and forms the basis for many works of fiction, including one by Adam Mickiewicz.

The bell in Sigmund Chapel, Castle Wawel. Was a pain in the ass (and legs) to walk up extremely narrow, widely spaced steps to the top, but these kids did it.. They had it easy though.. I guess the people those days were really small, or everyone everywhere used hunchbacks to ring bells.. Because I really had trouble going through certain levels. I can't imagine how the Europeans which are larger-sized ever make it. These guys were on a school trip, and they had an extreme obsession with the bell.. Kept trying to jump to touch it, but that's kids, I guess. :)

can teach me how you shoot street, shooting the people straight on? haha

i usually wait for them to turn for longer focal lengths.. for short ones, you notice they will usually be at the side.. at 10mm no one knows what you are shooting, some will look puzzled because you look like you're shooting at nonsense.. so they wonder if they're being shot but no one's going to confront you since everyone's used to the perspective they tend to get from handphone cameras and p&s..

i dread the day everyone knows what the 10-20 is..

i think in cop and warsaw i got really bored walking on the streets sometimes, there's a lot of hipshots taken for pure fun in there.. saw a series done that way in one of the hong kong threads here.. so tried, got some okayy but not fantastic results, i think it's worth a try too. but i am really too lazy to process them right now with a 1.6 celeron processor. it literally groans, i can feel it.
