On to other places - the Town Square at night. On weekends they have this cool bazaar thing going on, selling trinkets, food at inflated prices but it is a nice experience I guess. Some of the store owners packing up to go home. As you can see, even with this late timing (the sun sets very late, about 9 pm), only on weekends, you get people still milling around the place.

nice scenes and nice shots u got there. =)

Horses that draw tourists (fat ones at that, hurhur) all the way from Zakopan entrance into Tatras mountain range, all the way to a carpark 1-2 km away from Moskie Oko. The horses are feeding, poor horses.

Emperor Zurg sulks at the furnicular railway station. For people interested in this it is easier to get to, but the views are not as nice.. suggest bring longer lens.. Or take the ski(?) lift up higher.

And please, do not be me. Me and my friend took the slope up to avoid paying some money.. The path is a lot steeper after the first initial slope.. And it is a lot, a lot longer than it looks. Just pay the money.

now for the wieliczka salt mine, very cool place with an extremely beautiful chapel and some very nice salt sculptures and murals that the bored salt miners had done.

this is one set of salt sculptures.. depicting the legend of the ring of kinga:

The Hungarian princess Kinga was to marry the sovereign of Krakow. She wanted to bring a wealthy gift for her fiancé. As the people in Poland had everything except salt, she asked her father for a salt mine as adowry, which he provided. She threw one of her rings into a salt mine of her father and travelled to Poland. Near Krakow, in Wieliczka she told the people to dig a deep pit. The miners found salt, and enclosed in the first piece of salt they mined was the ring of Kinga.
