actually this isn't the western type of carrot cake, it is the eastern type, here in singapore maybe you know it as chai tow kway. some information in wikipedia here..

No need to apologise. I have been in Singapore for 20yrs and actually love carrot cake with lots of chilli and black sauce, but doctor say no good. cannot!

I had a friend in the office, I was reading this thread he seen your caption and I quoted what he said. Tried to explain to him, couldnt understand so took him out for some carrot cake, now he understands, just cant take chilli!

It was just they way he commented, was so funny.
