The last beautiful pic depicts the status preceeding end of lives:
despite the blue sky and the strong firm green trees at the background, things around the subject were turning brown....the withering tree was sad enough without the deliberate addition of a branch, simulating the extention of the probably dried roots of the tree.
It's similar to a pic of a lonely aged, wrinkled and counting his/her days, with no visitors/relatives, perhaps staying in a new govt home for the aged?

thanks for sharing your thoughts..

but always remember.. when spring comes again, the tree will come back to life. it is a cycle with plants.. until the roots (heart) die. i think there is something to bring away from that knowledge, i hope.

anyway, Pentax colour is really nice. using K100d here, but lazy pp-ing pics... wondering k20d's jpeg better than k100d?

what setting you use when you took those green grass of Hermit of the wood, and d nirvana road? saturation +1?
I usually don't get that nice from k100d..unless i pp_ing hard...
