no problem at all, i am after all the cs ot king or something =D

well i know i improve when i
1) shoot a lot
2) try a lot
3) am self-critical of shots, i.e. nitpick own shots
4) delete agressively
5) think before i shoot again

as for the buddy buddy system, probably not - but i have shot with various people here and there, and have learnt something from all of them; whether senior or junior or shoot 1 day or shoot 10 years, everyone has a fresh perspective which is different, something to learn from each other, so group shootings are definitely useful on matter what

i know azure conducts ag (all-gear or anything goes, can't remember - meaning any gear is welcome) outings, so keep a look out in landscapes section if you're interested, he's definitely very good. have never been on one but i suppose there are many people, so you won't feel very out of place, and will definitely gain something. so join if you can!

i find looking at other people's photos very useful too, of course good ones are more useful than bad ones - some good landscape photographers here are eikin (also has apad thread, go look, superb), zooshh (travel), i can't remember this guy imran's cs nick, but he has a photoblog here, and do a quick search for hazmee's landscape threads. zerodivine's too. these are the ones i can remember easily.

ah thanx a lot bro =) need to find time to go for classes.. 5more mths till i'm released by the govt =) after that i'll definately find time.. lol

still in army? hahaha
well, don't worry about it too much, after that you'd be pretty free i expect
depending on what you plan to do after army, that is
time is not a factor
most people have enough time - whether you are willing to sacrifice other things in lieu of priorities is another thing altogether =)

as for classes, i'm not sure if you really need photography class
for me, i never attended any
the best classroom i got was out there, shooting and trying
waste a lot of shutter count, sometimes, but who cares, so long as it contributes towards learning =)

best of luck, and i'm certain you'll feel a certain sense of euphoria when you ord hahaha

haha thanx man.. =) for a moment there i was thinkin that the 86 in ur nick might mean the yr u were born.. lol.. but yea as usual, invaluable advice =)
