hmm.. think we shall close this by this coming fri... ;p

have any of you guys actually done a night dive at hantu before? cos i have, solo, and it's the scariest dive i've ever done. You can't see anything, the entire water's just one bright blur cos the sediment just reflects all your light all around you, you don't know whether you're right side up or upside down except for your bubbles and your depth gauge. good luck to you fellas, sorry to burst your bubble, but in my opinion it's not a good idea...

mm, i think most of us are prepared for that, though we've not done night dive there before. not to say night dive, if you are diving more than 5m at hantu on a poor vis day, you might not know your direction in the dark green. i've tried that before, more than a year back, and being not as prepared (and without a torch) i was a bit  then.

most of us have done quite a bit of dives at hantu, and most being dive professionals, i trust that they are steady enough :)

the crucial point, is that you have to keep close to ground, and dive shallow. and be mentally prepared. having almost 10 of us, i am not expecting anyone to do a solo night dive at hantu :nono:

thanks for the pre empt though :)

:) Sorry for being a wet towel, but really, it was very bad. I did that dive near the jetty pylons and i only went down 30 feet, but it still wasn't very reassuring to know i was close to ground. Maybe you guys should consider using a guide rope. Trust you fellas know what you're doing, please be very careful.

30feet?? hmmm. my intention is to dive max depth 8m (which is the depth at the end of the jetty). dun think we wanna use a guide rope (wait the whaleshark swim past and get entangled how?? :bsmilie: )

anyway, lets see if the fire burns our fingers

Hey Ho. I'm definitely out. Just got wedding invitation in the mail for guess which date? You got it, 19th Feb. So I guess I won't be diving with you guys this trip. Enjoy the experience and bring more torches!

Wah, who are the pros???....I not dive professional leh.......need someone to hold my hand.... :bsmilie:

beivied will gladly hold your hand! she's already holding on to siaoon anyway...

That's the problem. She's got Siaoon on one hand, and me on the other hand. If anything happens, she's gonna let go of me and hold on to him. I've gotta find another more reliable person to hold me hand. :D :D

*disclaimer: the above post is not a representation of Beivied's professionalism. She will not let go of your hand under water. The only problem is getting her to hold your hand in the first place. :bsmilie: :bsmilie:
