I have a Nikon-Nex adapter, so I can still use my Nikon lenses. Also bought a Pentax110-Nex adapter recently, but have not tried using the Pentax110 for IR yet :)

congrats :)

Guess I would have to go for that option too. Sony SAL 18-55 is said to be hotspot-free but unfortunately the E-A adapter is not cheap :(

wow...quite anxious to know how the images will turn out like...heez...hope you post soon!

Yeah there are hotspots with the 18-55 however I feel it is more prominent with different filters (wavelength). I am also gonna get a nikon to NEX adaptor from ebay :P

Bro CE pls pm mi hows the charges would be. Interested in mod my nex5

Photo taken without any filter, allowing both visible light and IR to reach the sensor. Interestingly the trees appear white but the grass remains greenish :)

Hello Adnix.
Now this is really something.
IR with normal colours. Hmmm... normally it would've taken a non-modified camera tripod-mounted and careful steps not to move the camera, and two shots taken - one with a screw-on IR filter, and one without... and merging both together to get this shot.
But here you are.. one camera, one quick shot... and you have the best of both worlds.
Hmmm... where is that fatigue now... haha...!
