Don't think the sets from US comes with the 1650mm power zoom kit as they are still on 1855mm kit.

Just realized that the V2 firmware downloadable from the Sony support site is only for the non-LE lens, although the support site says it is also for the LE... Sigh... Really disappointed.

Just bought my Nex 5R set with SEL1650 zoom from Alan Photo. They quoted 1060 for single and 13xx (don't remember exact) for twin lens kit (with SEL55210).

The person I spoke with wouldn't budge on the price, and I didn't want to go all the way to HV to Paris Silk for just 40$ less.

The camera came with case and 8GB class 4 card and LCD protector. I negotiated somewhat to get the salesperson to throw in an extra Sony battery for less that retail (RRP of $120). All in all, not sure if I got a great deal but its definitely cheaper than the $1149 that Courts / HN etc would not budge from!

Parisilk is 1090 with extra battery. 1030 for just 16-50 and body. Hoya HMC UV @ 30. Free gifts are just 8gb and an ugly bag though.

Paid 1100 all in including original Sony battery. Initially was offered 3rd party battery for a bit less than that but I badgered the sales person into giving a deal on the original.

So not that far off from the Paris Silk price of 1090 - now it feels like I got a decenct deal!
