wow u actually bump this thread up.
almost drop my jaw when i saw the first pic...looks like a freaking long bazooka.. I just got my A mount adapter last week and will be getting a 70400G later this year.. meanwhile..still waiting for better/more SLR/SLT..before i make my choice.

Think what a lot of NEX users are looking for is a good, compact lens.

Like from what I read from the dpreview forum - Smallest, Sharpest, Fastest....

It's a very sharp lens. Here's a picture I got from the web. Note that this is one with the lens hood on, which makes it look signficantly longer than without.

Will take some shots of it mounted on the C3 this weekend without the hood

Well, we mount these lens, cuz manual focus usually will be sharper, though slower. Besides, theres a certain charm about MF legacy lens.. You have to use them to appreciate them.

Er.... I am not familiar with Nikon system but I think what you are looking for is Nex to Nikon F-mount adapter.

There's only F mount for the Nikon SLR system.
