i tink 28 is way over priced for a screen protector. Hope sony style can faster restock all the accessories and lens.

The Sony recommended retail price for the clip on hard screen protector is only $15.
And the soft type is $12. These are typically better quality but you can get the same quality at sls for $8-$10. Not to be confused with the cheaper $2 types from Daiso. I used those alot but they will peel off after a while because they are not stiff or matt like the premium ones.

One shop on level 2 of SLS had the original Sony Nex5 hard plastic screen protector but quoted me $18! I was not aware of the RRP of $15 at the time but balked at paying 18 bucks so did not buy it...whew

i can say that after u got the hard cover no need use screen protector liao...
first post in cs here. Got the accessory kit from another cs member who asked a friend to bring it in from overseas. The kit cost $150, and included a wrapping cloth, a long strap, a lens cap holder as well as a battery pack. thought it was a great deal as the battery cost $120 in singapore.

for ppl wanting to buy soft scr protector while waiting for the hard cover,
u can try get 550D scr protector.
the width is same buy height is taller, thus a portion of the protector will protrude out lor.

Thanks :thumbsup:, I tried it out finally last night, had long day at work. Pretty good items, but I do find the strap a little on the long side. ;p

Guys i just got back from SLS.
1st floor has the screen protector at 30 BUCKS!!!!
Went to the sony V3 shop at 3rd level.
Got it for 18 dolalrs!
Soft one going for 15!
Got a few more pieces, so cheong ah!
I have already mentioned on page 4 that the level one shop ( with a big Sony sign) selling for $30, but I bought the hard screen protector at $15 after I showed him official Sony price is $15 ( Sony website on my phone). Why go level 2 and pay extra $3?
And I think parisilk at holland v still have stock for 16mm lens. Those with vouchor can call up and ask.

Btw anyone seen the black leather bottom case for sale for nex5? I only saw the white one for nex5 available at SLS. Official retail price is $45 so try not to pay extra at Sony official retailers.
The strap is supposed to be long enough to be able to cross sling the camera, so I guess it should be pretty long. Anyway, thanks for bringing the kit in!
