Go to the night fest and shoot a bit leh.
Would be good to see how this not so fast lens fare in the dark.

The lens is still a f3.5-5.6 lens. Even with nano coating. It's still not a fast lens.. So I expect to perform similar to the present 14-42 kit lens.

at the end, it is f4 -5.6 and the physic still apply. a f4 lens can not do a f2.8 job.
The only way we could partially compensate this is to push up the ISO level to increase shutter speed, but then it is more a camera capabilities.

having said that (put aside the aperture), certainly we can test the lens during dim lim situation on hunting to lock AF etc..etc..
this weekend not free lah..will be shoting night fest next saturday.

Bro, any comparison with 45-200 or 40-150? Interesting to know also how well power ois works on pen too.

Bobian lah, anyway do let us know how the 14-42 performs when you manage to lay your wicked hands on it.
I'm very interested to know how it fares against the 14-45 under flare situation since it doesn't have a hood while the latter does.

The tactile feedback better be good on the zoom toggle... else it is a complete failure...
Consumer functions making it to a prosumer product... but clever, I must say... +1 Panny!

anyone know if this lens is available locally yet? thanks.
