Why not just remove the card and use a reader ? Troublesome it may sound , at least u don't end up so frustrated right ?

Alternatively , get a replacement data cable from Pana.
Sometimes it maybe that the cable's lingering between life and death which's causing the unstable connections.

So far I got my iPad to work with my GX7 via the Panasonic Image App, but I've not been successful with my S4. Always saying that the internet connection is bad, hence they can't connect.

No need to get the Extreme Pro 90mb/s. The new Sandisk Extreme 80mb/s does not have the lag problem.

Sounds like for the GX7 , there seems to be a minimum card speed for smooth usage from all the posts. Is this true ?

Read speeds is different from write speeds. A senior (not older , more experienced) also shared with me that a 45mbs (Extreme Sandisk) is more than sufficient even for the EM-1 when i asked should I go for higher speed cards.

The highest I've gone is really just the budget Extreme 45mbs Sandisk and have not felt the need to go faster.

Hi, I too am using the 45mbps card, the Sandisk Extreme right? I tested your scenario last night and had no such issues, its almost instantaneous.

Found the solution online --> just switch the video recording to AVCHD and slow startup will go away... Note that the slow startup only happen to certain card... Some slower card doesnt have that problem (so it's not speed related) and people are suggesting that it's a bug and might be fixed later on... cheers!

Hmm, mine is already set as MP4 and I still don't have that issue. My Firmware is currently 1.02, just updated yesterday.

Surprised that now it's a below $1400 quote for the 20mm kit and at Song brothers. They had quoted me almost $200+ for a camera which I bought at John 3:16 later at $98.

Relatively large drop from the release date not too long ago.
