So true....but its always easier to start a witch hunt on wolfish male photographers, than to do the same for slutty female models. Hence, the way the story is being presented.

Brings to mind that other CS poster who is a journalist, telling us the real scoop on how newspapers can slant a story any way they want.

It's interesting how it's the photographers who "scour the internet" looking for models, when in reality many models find us all on their own, then start advertising "C cup!" when in fact they're lucky to fill an A...

it's like a normal lancer who puts on a evo kit and think they can fool others.
it's sad.

so, when it is photographers turn to be interviewed and glamourised in TNP?
so far, the public only hears the XMM/models wannabe side of the story.

i just hope the public will not be as shallow to just think a guy or girl with camera just want to shoot for the sake of getting closer to cheap porn.

i dont know about you guys.
but IF i am a guy, averal is somebody i wouldnt want to even shoot, not to even mention shooting lingerie.

What I find funny is that she objects to getting flamed for her posts, yet she's not even posting to the right crowd. Fancy putting up posts on models in a photographer's forum Its akin to posting warnings about investment products and High Notes on the DBS website and not expecting to be flamed.

hey i'm not like averal's supporter or anything, but that was uncalled for la, personal attack man.. i don't agree with some of the things she said about guys (in the case of mattlock's thread with the ac boy and 4 girls) but i feel in this case, she meant well? some time ago i remember trying to warn a friend about all these kind of things but she didn't want to listen..so too bad la...anyway, it's not as if averal is saying stop these shoots..just be more wary...nothing wrong with being more cautious..really a lot of hum sup people around la...i remember there's a video taken of my friend at sitex and the camera man was like just like panning going up and down her body...sick la...i for one am glad this article came out...cs now is quite different (sometimes not in a very good way) from what i remember it used to be a few years back..

i'm really a big fan of this jap guy on flickr called tommyoshima..he does some really tasteful photography..with models of course...would be really awesome if more csers could try something along those lines rather than the usual run of the mill shoot at the beach wear bikini/cutsey pose/whatever...

just to be clear, i'm not against model shoots, in case some might think i am..i just feel they need to be more tastefully done...or be less generic. most of the time the comments given about the photo is really just about how good the model looks, rather than composition/concept of the photo

shooting aunties is cool too... think mattlock did one before, if i'm not mistaken... some aunty lying on the counter of the old mitre hotel. that was creative and quirky

Anyway, there are plenty of photog or GWCs here in CS whom shoots alot of XMMs... Just visit their online albums...

that thing that averal attacked mattlock on was completely unrelated to what tnp interviewed her about. she was lecturing jing on male chauvinism...man i had thought averal was older but man am i surprised to see that she's only 20:bigeyes: :thumbsup: that she had the guts to speak out in that article but she'd better be prepared to deal with the fallout.

Picture carefully selected to adjust the mood of the article.

BUT.... the newspaper seem to be written in such way which sounds like they're blaming the photogs... But what about the models? They themselves allow themselves to be shot. It's not like the photog is pointing a gun to the model's head forcing them to do lingerie.

It's the model who offer themselves up to such things. If they don't want to do such things, don't do them in the first place. Of course the "molesters" must be punished as well.

objectively, both are to be blamed..the demand starts from the photographers who are willing to pay for these sleazy shoots... these xmms want the money...and it's easy money for them just pose here and there...

seriously got to suspect the intentions of some photogs man...regarding same friend i mentioned earlier..one of them asked her to go to his studio late at night cos he's only free then for the shoot..wth right? good thing she had the common sense not to go for that...
