This potential room will be very little for the medium (not even short term) if u r curious, can always ask the shops why.
Point is , for XT10 ; it won't be much worth waiting it out for prices to drop substantially.

Watching from the sidelines, I think if Fuji puts some restrictions on street discounting, it is not very wise. People are used to paying street price. With its inherent premium pricing against other makes and big price gap compared to other markets eg Japan/Malaysia, local Sg sales might be hurt.

But note the ver 4.00 refers to the firmware on X-T1, on the X-T10 it's just ver 1.00 but they both have the same updated focusing system.

Yes. Almost there so get from SG. Japan seems much cheaper

I would think its a fair price if u r not interested in the grip , half case and the battery which forms part of the free gifts in the SG market.
The grip alone is around $200. If u plan to get these items later , then it's only more worthwhile to get the set locally.
