I have the lens.... love it purely for the wide-ness. used it extensively for my Europe trip.
whether is a good "investment" is up to u. for me it is serving me very well so i consider it a good investment. as for better choice, definitly got lah, but $$$
there'll be recommendations for the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 or the Nikon 12-24 F/4 for wide angle zoom, but in the end i went for the 10-24 because of the extra range at both ends. but for some they go for the 11-16 cos of the f/1.8 and supposedly better IQ, or the older Nikon 12-24mm for better built quality and fixed f/4, so really depends on individual.
I tried them and I love the picture. Is sharp. So am going to get it tomolor. Hi bro how much u pay for it? Where u get it ar? Can share?

What do you need a UWA for? If it's just because you want to buy more lenses then please save your money.
Reason for tat? Cos my camera not good enough or? Pls share
Reason for that is simple. If you don't need it then don't waste your money. It's not like getting a UWA improves your photographic techinque.
Meaning if my technique no good = no point of getting UWA. Cos is a waste of the lens?
