Hopefully I can inspire the newbies with the output from my kit lens!!

OK, at the moment, I can do with almost any lens but not the filters, so those are the only stuff I'll be playing around with.

I'm only using a D5000 and wished I had more lenses to change also but unfortunately, only have some basic stuffs to keep me going.

Yes I agree. The Seniors' main role is to share and guide and not indulge in himself happily changing lens and shooting. We are there to mainly guide and share our experience. & knowledge

So hopefully those seniors who signed up are clear about this objective as stated by Zerocool.

Dun need to bring a luggage of arsenal. Just a landscape lens or a portraits lens if you like.
Cos the newbies are jus goin to have their basic kits and tat's about it.

yeah maybe grab something small to bite first, like a 250g steak... heheheh kidding. Something like curry puff perhaps?
Dinner.... hmmm, I estimate around 8-ish.

THINGS TO BRING:
1) Camera + lens(es) if it's a DSLR. If not, any camera with manual control over shutter speed, aperture, etc.
2) Tripod. This is essential. If you don't want to bring, please don't waste a slot by putting your name down.
