ah....... later got shoot than i post again, when u say flat n no dynamics wow lau i need panadol catch no balls, need to ask mentor some question regarding flat n dynamics
a) the rich man car is under spot light s compare to datsun,which cause the datsun to appear flat n no dynamics right ? so same angle shoot under spot night or fluorescent will swee swee or
b) the angle of shot totally cannot make it not to mention lighting too ?:bigeyes:

Notice how every single reflection is showing off the contours of the car.
Let me clarify... It's your LIGHTING-Dynamics which are not there...
btw, Shooting cars (NOT miniatures) is the Hardest things to shoot...
The question is NOT if there is an image, or whether it is sharp. The question now, is HOW GOOD is the image?
I smell another chicken rice session, and a shopping trip to Popular Bookstore, if you want to pursue this... hahahaha

I will teach you how to shoot with the SIMPLEST of items !!!
We go shopping at Popular for the COMMON items....
And you can use these to reshoot ANYTHING else which is of a similar size of smaller..
but after c the photo i get what u mean, ah...still a long way to go, just a crazy tot if i get my friend use led tourchlight to shine on the model car than i shoot u tin can get 3% closer to what u show me,or u tin find one good spot n use the spot light n shoot,

i love the 135 it does give a nice bokeh on the background,i dun know about what other will say,it seem to be the flower has a 3d effect on me
ar.... the whose home,m..... i pump up iso to 1250 it does not seem to me that the picture has more noise or grain,it would be perfect if there is prominent grain on it , what say u ?
i wonder if the second hand 25mm pentax is having problem, the whose home does have vigenetting on it but master the the vigenetting corner , can u see that the picture seem there is sme distortion, is the norm ?
this 25mm seem that the house is not flat but poping out 3d effect,look good for me, is that the norm for this lens ?

MC: It will be more "3D" if you could move closer. Try getting extension tubes from the corner shop in Peninsular. Their new stock just came in. It'll cost about $40. Ask Xavier to show you how to use it.

MC: Yes, this is normal if you shoot subjects nearer to infinity. However, it will be much less, if you shoot closeups. You can also buy extension tubes from #02-36 in Sim Lim Square (I can't remember the exact shop number, so I might be wrong) But the shop is not more than 30 meters from the escalator. Just turn right at the escalator, and then turn left immediately. It's 1st shop on the left...
