I highly recommended this place!! Served nice thai food and cheap!!! This meal we spent around $70 SGD for 4 pax

Please beware of fake "Somboon" restaurants. There are some fake restaurants calling themselves "Samboon" or something like that, paid those Tutu or Taxi driver high commission if they bring you there to get "Carrot" ;( There are only 5 Somboon around and the address can be found on thier website

Fried Curry Crab

These 2 are on top of my list espec their specialty fried curry crab:heart: Well taken bro, really remind me of the nice food from Somboon :thumbsup:
Yup, lots of 'fakes' and 'variations' of the original Somboon, there's this one however (near Patpong area, called Somboon#### something) and served pretty nice Thai seafood. Visited them in 2009 but was no longer there last year.

Thanks bro, really like the food and price there haha didn't try the 1 near Patpong. Haven't been to Patpong for many years. Things in Patpong getting more and more expensive due to Japanese tourist lol

Very fresh crab!! My wife & my friends like this dish a lot but I find the sauce taste kind of like Maggie curry nooddle with egg :bsmilie:

This is not the regular Fried Oyster in TW... This dish actually is Fried egg with prawn but my friends was so tempted by the size of the Oyster, they requested the auntie to replaced the prawn with the big oyster :bsmilie: I don't eat Oyster but my friends said it's very fresh & juicy!!
