comes to think of it, many movie stars from HK r pr here in singapore, wonder how many of them join CS.:think::think:

Actually, who knows? Maybe a couple of them have even become Mods already. Perhaps that is why there isn't much excitement with Mr Chow Yun Fatt coming into the picture.
If we are not careful, one day, say Jet Li, may decide to triple CS's US$89K worth and buy over the whole forum and becomes the Admin himself!

Welcome

For a start
7d + kit lens 15-85 +ex430II + diffuser

You are good to go

Thanks for the heads up...Tv is indeed my favorite mode right now, when I un-leash the kids, keeping up with them is already one thing.
I cannot have time to set so many things....*Fainted*...I think I'll loss weight in a week or two.

The manual is indeed useful, but I found the DvD rather more informative.

Oeii...I'm not rich...I don't have many Lens, not to mention "L" somemore.
Chow Yun Fatt is just a Nick the ppl in my industry call me by Lar.

hell ya. ~~ hi mr rich.

to get kids running and all the candid shots, feed them loads of sugar.
and u on the other hand take a lot of pandadol.

and just shoot like free.

Feed them Sugar?....Are you insane?...Already now I'm like a GPMG Gunner &
You still want them on a Sugar High?

Mr Chow, Mr Chow, a very very warm welcome to you!
I think we had better alert the Admin & all the Moderators to this sudden news.
If they knew, they would be jumping up to put on their best suits and bow-ties
and laying down the red carpet....

Sorry I'm the Fake one.:sticktong

means ur rich la.:bsmilie:
next time when u upgrade ur 7D. can donate ur old stuff to me=)

he might be the real chow yun fatt :bsmilie::bsmilie:

For the Last Time...I'm not the real deal...And I actually look much better than him...:sticktong...Just Kidding

Oeii Basket...You guys are suppose to help me & give me advise on what to do & what not to do leh...How come the topic is still on my Nick har?

;p

Hi there,

I recently purchased a 7D to Capture Moments of my Kids & I'm on the Hunt for Lens for this purpose.

Sick & Tired of Blur shots taken from my compact Digital Cameras. My Kids are constantly running around, so I'm gonna need all the Skill & Equipment I can get.

Would appreciate constructive advise from members here.

Thank you

I also got kids and I'm using telephoto zoom to take their photos. I got a D90 with 55-200mm and I'm often shooting a few feet away.

They're also constantly running around so I'll just take them to the playground or park and then let them play while I practice my panning shots on them. Take a lot of pictures and you will surely get lucky and capture great ones.

Just let them enjoy - they'll eventually get tired, sit around (lie even) and rest. That is the time to take portrait shots.

Enjoy your new camera!

Thank you for the advise, but I'm currently using only the Pop-Up Diffuser on my Flash.
Does the External flash play a lot of difference?

Sorry Lar, Newbie question is like that one...;p

Yes, I agree with you. They'll eventually get tired.

I use a 70-200mm f1.2 to capture them from a distance because if I'm too close, they will touch my Lens, ask me to play with them and get easily distracted, so I use this as my primary lens. Because I cannot work with a Tri-Pod, my arms are getting a good work out also...:bsmilie:

I really love taking portrait shots of them, all kids are so natural, not plastic at all.
