30. A mono version of a low angle shot of Lake Tekapo.

Somehow, I still prefer the colour versions.

i thought if you crop off the tree in #2, it would be a breathtaking piece :D

Interesting..I exactly thought the opposite. The tree here provides the contrast of color, and breaks the visual monotony. I have a similar picture taken way back in 2003, without the tree, and it looks lame. I was wondering; wow this is the way I cd have made my picture better!!

NZ is amazing... it's really one of the places that u gotta go before u die.

11. Took a helicopter from Queenstown and landed on top of Jura Glacier. This a view from the top. This is a stich of 6 photos. And please don't ask me to identify the various peaks ;)

u noe its unbelievable that u did it with 6 photos.. for me i hv to take problem slightly more to prevent distortion... so what gear r u using to take this? roughly at what setting?

Oh my your pictures are stunning !
I wonder why I didnt get to see all those places on my last trip to NZ. Do you mind sharing your itinerary ? I have to visit NZ some time soon !

Shooting with my 20D and the 10-22mm lens. I allowed quited a bit of overlap between photos which could have account for less distortion in the panorama ;)

31. Forest near the Cleddau River. The forest is denser on the west side of the South Island due to greater rain fall.

Me too! Just went there last year and feel like going again :D

33. Another view of Lake Wanaka with the much discussed tree in full view. I personally prefer picture 2 myself. What do you think?

This one for me! The mountains in the background are more 'diverse' and the tree is complete! :)
