By tomorrow morning (SG time), if no announcement, then we all pack up and go home. :D

even if the announcement is made in japan also need to give time for the reporters to come back to office and draft an article an upload ma... patience man and u also dunno the conference wat time :bsmilie:

Will you change camp to BIG "C" :bsmilie:

No.. With the exception of the 5D, I never like the tones of the images Canon cameras produce and I am never a fan of their optics. Haven't seen 1DmkIII but I'm quite certain I'm sticking with Nikon.

Actually if you fellas are so heavily invested in Nikon, it makes no sense to jump ship.

DSLR bodies are replaceable; but good glass lasts longer than the photographer.

Zeiss has developed lenses for the F-mount, and they, IMHO are better than any L glass.

if the glass u have are not 300 f2.8, 400f2.8, 500f4, 600f4, its totally easy to jump to the big C. unless u have more than 10 or 20 or 30+++ nikon glass..

mm...actually color tone problem seems to be a general canon problem... becos as what many mentioned, they dun really like their canon color tone, from the top end range dslr to the 300d...

but for ur case, i think if u jump ship to canon, its very very very very tough...
D2X/D200/10.5 f2.8/12-24 f4/17-55 f2.8/17-35 f2.8/18-200VR/70-200 VR/85 f1.8/105 VR/2 SB800 Flash

Really? I'm looking forward to REALLY see it!

Then I'm looking forward to get D200 or the D2X second hand cheep!

Actually, I'm quite surprised because Canon has been in the video business for so long they still can't get their colours right. Even Panasonic and Sony can do better. Even for video lenses, Fujinon lenses are so much sharper than Canon lenses.

I believe Nikon's philosophy is more of that of a photographer, the images more important than anything else.
