New Pentax K-30 now on sale for $784 (before GST)

Hi, Price of K-30 Black body only now increased to $850 before GST, to $909.50(with GST).
Too late, must not think too much next time, kan kan lai. :cry:

darn, since price increased liao, guess i'll wait for announcements of new models from the other brands.

If I wait till tonight will have to pay $71 more

Finally, got back in.

Noticed that the lens prices have also been adjusted, some downwards.

So maybe, if u choose the right lenses, there is actually no increase in the price

Oh no, i made a dreadful error. went to the US webstore instead. so price in sg store for lenses did not drop at all.

Well, as consolation, US Store is selling K30 body @ USD$850, so we're still getting it cheaper here

This is me being anal ! Can anyone comment on the aftersales support for Pentax in Singapore ? As far as I can see, Pentax is only represented by a local dealer (Emjay).

Am I being overtly concern ?

My k5 got quite a few minor issue last time . Emjay service it and in the end I got a almost brand new set as replacement . So I think you no need to be over concern .

Actually we probably have the best service/support from our local distributor, 'cause our local Pentax distributor will send all repair works to Japan. Well, it'd definitely take a bit longer to get the camera/lens back, but you'd be assured to have the best service from Japan Pentax

Emjay is the local distributor so the suport is there.
