have u tested 55-300mm ? it is budget zoom , though i am ok with f5.8 but the AF is quite slow.

for its cheap price, dal 55-300 is quite a gd lens..sweet spot will be at f8.. if u planning to shot inside your home, just add external flash and bounce off the wall..anyway, you can always upgrade later if u really need a biiger aperture.

my experience with the 55-300 has been very good also. AF does hunt abit on k-x but this can be minimized once you get the hang of the lens and know how to use it. It is indeed very sharp in its sweet spot

pricing is tempting; twin WR lens kit is $1,139 before gst. may get this instead of body-only, even though i already have 18-55 & 50-200 (non-WR)

considering OM-D also; lighter weight, more features (e.g. tilting screen), but smaller sensor and more expensive also. decisions, decisions...

Means the box is opened but the camera and all accessories are still in the box. They'll probably take out a bundled kit lens so they can sell both separately at cheaper prices (thus we as users can get better deals)
