My gut feeling is that the price will be more in the area of the 12mm f2, as I was told it is of metal construction and the glass is just beautiful to look at.

The quality of the fuji 60 mm still leaves much to be desired....not talking about the image quality but the AF mechanism and how the lens feels put together. In fact, the build quality and the feel of the entire XPro1, just does not feel that great. I can quite safely say that the Oly 60 mm macro will be a gem if you consider how the recent m4/3 lens have been and how the prototype 75 mm f1.8 feels both in terms of IQ and build quality.

Cant say anything bad about it at all...... It will trump the 45 1.8 for sure.

For typical 2.0x TC, the light lost will be approx 2 stops. for 1.4xTC the light lost will be 1 stop.
