That doesn't matter, it's subjective. For me it's sharp, 'The Mansurovs' even compare it with the old D and 1.4G. It is indeed sharper.

Some lousy attempts... all straight of the camera just cropped a few of these. Just to showcase the bokeh characteristics of this little GEM at f1.8. Using (D5100)!
At Dhoby Ghaut:
