welcome to apad, remember to include the date of post...
kinda distracting with the other flower on the right.
welcome to apad!!!
Caught the thunderstorm around my place. I have kids at home and the only window that looked into the thunderstorm had a grill on it. I could not open it for safety so i only had a small window (literally) to take the shot.
Used a wireless shutter release. Set the shutter for 1 second to try to catch it 'growing'. Could not use the black card method as I could not keep staying at the window. So many things not perfect but I really like this particular one that I caught.
Definitely welcome any suggestions/tips from the veterans on the proper way to catch lightning.

Took this shot blind. Was moving since I did not want to hold up the 'traffic' behind me. Thought it ended up as an interesting shot with the motion blur.

Mmmm...like not blurr enough leh...front ppl still quite focused. I rmbr one critic told me in one of mu previous posting....for motion shot either you freeze the fella tack sharp or do a complete blurr until like can;t figure out things hahaha.....
actually hoh .. this shot is anyhow whack one ;p. i literally stuck my camera out to the side and just press the shutter release. yeah i agree not blur enough .. but i thought it was interesting that a random shot was actually pretty upright and not totally OOF
I was also desperate to pick a PAD hahahaha.
