not really, if you read up a bit
you'll find out that image quality does not correlate to megapixels on paper
sensor quality and size does play a part too! =D

Photograhy isn't as cheap as you think. There're afew price guides in CS to give you a better picture (Pun intended :bsmilie: ) of what kind of equipment you're looking at.
