Need help in Premiere pro 5.5 (video lagging)

Can anyone help me. Been trying to resolve this all night. after loading the program with the right sequence for DSLR. I imported a few videos and place on the time line than when i want to replay the video on the top right portion. The video s so laggy. Any advice please??????

must get i7 sandy bridge cpu, 1gb nvidia GT450, 8 gb ram

Have you set your video sequence preset correctly?

DSLR, 1080 25p etc etc. for dslrs.

I'm working on a Q6660 with amd 480 series card footage is smooth with no issues.

I'm using a Mac book pro 15-inch: 2.2 GHz.

The software are original bought from agent in Singapore.

Yup, 1080p - 25P.
