Just got mine with digihub. 60L AD. Seem like taking forever to drop to below 60% and been 2 hours lao. SO i had it turned at HI all the way to the right and see how. And yeah i wonder y all the dry cabi has to be black. Esp the interior, actually thinking of painting the interior white to help find thing in it.

Just thought I would update everyone - my AD080 came in today. It looks pretty well made, and is heavier than I expected. Less than 1 hour and it is already at 60% from 67%. Btw, I had to change the 3A battery which powers the digital display. Looks good so far!

Also, no freebies whatsoever. Bought it from Carrefour.

Anyone here also with the DHC series?

just bought my dry cabi from carrefour.... model no DB-O36. its a 30L cabinet and cost 99 bucks...
looks good and shud be more than enough to store my photography equipments...
anyway, thanks to the ppl here for the advises and infos...
really appreciate that.
;)

Mine... DHC-80

Haha, same! I didn't see the need for anything bigger, and the size was just nice for all my stuff, including non camera stuff, so got the 80L!:sweatsm:

Take good care of your lenses and buy a spacious dry cabinet. Your lenses will thank you for it whenever you shoot!

May I know if the word Dry Cabinet on your Digicabi is stuck on or etched on and cannot be removed?

Thanks!

I have the same one...

it's etched on... permanent.

Woohoo.. just got my DHC-040 & it's more than enough for my equipment already..
350d+kit lens, 80-300U, 24-70L + 430EX + spare digital hygrometer..

erm.. it took about 4 hours to reduce RH from 86% -> 55%.. I set the RH% i want to 48%.. however, there's slight difference between the reading from the cabi & my spare digital hygometer.. hmm, about 2-3% difference.. could be due to different positioning of the meter. anyway, will wait till it normalize then decide the final % to use..;)

Good choice, brother  Enjoy the Blueeee light

Hi guys, what is your knob's position (green light facing where?) for the RH's level of around 50% for your DB-036 (30L)?
Mine just have one green light led without any red led eh?

hi guys,
I'm using AD-050 and my RH is currently @ 38-39% RH @29-30C. Is my RH too low? Should I make it go higher around RH 45%?

Thanks :D

i just got the db-036. Setting the knob anti-clockwise causes the LED light to be dimmer. i.e, at 3pm position, the led light is the brightest, and at about 7am position, the LED does not have any light on it... is that normal?

what is the rh reading?

it's now at 67% (66% just mins ago)... set to about 7am (LED light is off)

believe my room to be around 70%-72%

Just bought a AD60 from Carrefour and now just plug in the power.

Got a free drybox too.

Want to check, the AD60 comes with 2 trays inside. However, it seems like if I put both trays in, the space inside very little. Do you guys use it with a single tray or both? If both, got enough space to put your stuffs?

oh well, its now at 53%, with the dial to the max right (aka 3pm) ...

I need a dry cabinet urgently, maybe a 40L one. I have a DSLR, two lenses, some filters, batteries, two videocams and many point and shoot. How many liters should my dry cabinet be? And where to get a good dry box? How much does it costs approximately?
