Need A Xmas Shot

hiya!
my company is looking for some night shots along orchard rd featuring this year's xmas decorations. It will be on our greeting cards actually. Need to be high res enough for printing.
So anyone, interested to sell us?

not too late yet lah.. decorations just up not too long ago only what
 

i mean to start to design the xmas card

need photo
need copy
need layout
need approval
need colourSep or CTP
need printing
need drying
need folding
need trimming
need packing
need delivery

hopefully they are smart enough to design it using standard envelope sizes,
so don't need to custom make envelopes

Any thing that has fantastic xmas elements? they wana a few to choose from.

as u know la, doing own company projects..normally push all to the way back one as we got other clients' projects to handle too... ;)

Those you got from the respective parties, but even if you shoot private buildings like center-point, taka..etc for commercial purposes you still need to get release from the management, else they might sue.
 

Actually you don't need any "releases" for building shots. Copyright in a building is not infringed by taking of a photo of that building.

Those you got from the respective parties, but even if you shoot private buildings like center-point, taka..etc for commercial purposes you still need to get release from the management, else they might sue.

No idea, juz some experience with esplanade. So far I dunnoe any case in Sg or not.
 

Well, as with security guards, a lot of these "management" just try their bully tactics on unsuspecting photographers when they may not even know the legal basis behind it, or if it even exists.

Hence, I won't be that quick to say that releases MUST be obtained.

yes, might be too late, like what ortega has already mention. don't forget still need to sign all the cards.

send locally might still can make it, oversea very hard to say.
 

i reckon no matter what, still need to finish up our company greeting cards before xmas.. :sweat:
of what i know, boss just want a local xmas scene in singapore for the card front thats all. Thanks for all the concern and replies...

Agreed. The best I've heard is this guard at Wheelock coming out and scolding a photographer who was shooting outside the building. Knowing his rights quite well, the photographer stood his ground and there was nothing the security guard could do about it.
