NDP Flypass Rehearsals

anyone knows the dates/timings for the rehearsals?

i have been seeing fighter planes and helicopters flying past the sky near my house these 2 weeks.

Looks like I will have to bring 2bodies, one for the heart formation and flag flypass and the other for the F16 close up.

Yes, bring 2 bodies with zoom and wide lenses attached and ready to shoot for the black knights. From the experience during the airshow, there is no time for changing of lenses. One moment, you are zooming into the plane, then suddenly, you realized that they are doing the heart formation and the lens on the body isn't wide enough.

saw the flypass in the heart of orchard. i think it would make a more interesting photo rather than just the black knights. Too bad i didn't have the cam with me.

earlier can catch the free fall parachute

dont keep hopes up to high.. i'll confirm again and get back to you when i go for ndp shoot this sat with my officers

only the first fly of f-16s and flag flypast can shoot... after that dark dark sky.

where is the nice spot to take picture? esplanade? the bridge? near the small merlion?

esplanade is quite good. but can try the merlion there too since the sun is behind somewhere

Anyone know where is the niece spot to capture this year's NDP? The area adjacent to the bay might not be accessible. To the east The Flyer to the west might be crowded very crowded if not sealed off on the actual day. To the north hotels which i do not intend to stay overnite there just to watch from atop. Moreover i have no mega tele lens. to the southwest where the merlion stands might also be too far off to see anything. This last location is only good when the fireworks start.
