Prostitution is not illegal. That the girl is a prostitute who offers sex for money is not in dispute. Whether she did this willingly & freely or coerced & forced into it, for monetary gain or otherwise, is besides the point. The point is she is a minor & its illegal to have sex with minors, period. As to why, can go and debate & argue. The laws are enacted for clear & specific purposes. Men's defences are nothing new & always revolve round the argument that they did not know about the law or the age of the girl, they were lured into it & are as much the victim, the girl is morally corrupt selling her body purely for filthy lucre so she is the guilty one etc. Subhas Anandan is just paid to do a job so he says what he need to say. He's one of the top criminal lawyers around so there may be hope for his clients, but he sure struck gold

Haha not really. My school was trying to promote leadership etc and some values. I never subscribed to them cause its just very superficial and not realistic. He was a high flyer cause he was chairman of taman jurong yec, scholarship holder, ocs etc. Then impression was that sch wanted us to be like him I guess.
