Eh... more like.. low lighting.. trying to compensate via leveling n saturation.. guess it didn't work..
I prefer the earlier ones too. cos the lighting was so gd esp during that sunrise at Ghorepani.
you mean the original is underexposed? you can try increasing exposure compensation on raw conversion (there should be a pop up window).
other than that, depending on what you want, you can
- increase the bright levels via leveling (i.e. on histogram, right white bar or the mid grey bar, either to the left)
- increase general brightness
- lightened shadow
- increase saturation
- increase lightness
but all to be tried out in moderacy and depending on how good is your original copy. also colors is another factor to consider.
the style for example in #48, can be used for a strong impression such as on urban subjects, old houses etc. i noticed that typical mode in azure's outing. personally i thought a more harmonious and less strong approach can be applied for travel photography, which have probably a different emphasis to entice. which in this case, may either require just increasing the bright tones, slightly lightening the shadow, and maybe slightly desaturating and shifting the hues of the leaves and the red words to provide a more harmonious color complement
#49 just need to lightened shadows below. i haven't yet tried long exposures to catch moving clouds. i think you did well and consider trying even longer duration.
the others is ok. the tungsten one is just for fun, rite? you can try to play around with more hues.
