seems like it applies only to those who reach the milestones on or after 29 Aug?
those who already MR'ed will receive nothing ?

I MR'ed at 31st March 2010, I got S$300, which I spent on a compact camera :bsmilie:

If those who MR later get S$9000, they can get a professional DSLR with very good lens :bsmilie:

Haha.. I got so excited for nothing. Thought the initial $3k into PSEA account can help with my poly fees. Read deeper then realise is only the $6k into CPF. :thumbsd:

Only the younger and active ones gets the $9k and it is not outright cash which you can to spend on a DSLR.

Just another carrot from them to buy your vote for the coming GE. :nono:

The older and earlier ones are ignored and forgotten. ;(

It would be better if a smaller amount is paid out in cash for ALL those who went through NS.

i got 3 more call ups i think... so i think get sha cheng from garment if i read the terms correctly... the sha cheng is split to the various OA, SA medisave accounts if im not wrong... when my house comes, all return to garment again... not bad... :bsmilie:

Initially I also thought it was cash but I was quite skeptical... True enough it is into our CPFs!

With rising housing prices, $9000 seriously is like a drop of water in an ocean...

But nevertheless, kudos to our government for the effort. Better than nothing.

I ord in 05, will be having my 3rd HK ICT on 1st mar next year and according to newspaper ytd, they will start to pay out in Feb next yr..so will i get the 2nd milestone payout of 3k??

You get paid for milestones reached on or after 29Aug..........
