Hi thanks for the support. I do own a SB-600 flash but I only use it for portrait shots (mainly cosplay photos which I have not been taking).WOW nice.....

am also a fan of anime figures...do not really have the time to take mine pictures..
but after ur setup I might try to do a similar setup in june when I have time...

For Tsukasa's photo I think you can generally avoid frontal lighting as it makes her looks flat. I mean, anime character themselves do not have very defined features so our lighting should make them stand out more. I would suggest a side lighting to add more dimension
Toilet roll in this case wasn't very effective also.
