Based on the initial invite , there will be some sort of gift for all guests. personally more interested with the cam instead =P and i wonder will they sell it on that day itself, never attend sony product launch before.

They say only lah , even white house state dinner can gatecrash , what is this in comparison to this? I've done this lots of times, most of the time they don't check , it's not like national security at stake.

I believe they will matching your e-mail invitation detail with their record (such as sony member ID, NRIC..) before let you enter to the showroom..

The procedure juz like previously I had been invited to join the Alpha 900 launching day.

Ya , that is standard but the thing is if you have the printout , u can just claim there must be a mistake in the list . Most likely they will agree and let u in , it's just technique. It's just basic social engineering. It's a human down there and not a robot.

I wonder if there will be souvenirs for those who registered. Will it be fair to those who registered with the original registration but their share of souvenirs are being taken by people who 'cheated'? So it becomes another 'boo-boo' of Sony? :think:

Sure must have extra. Maybe they will just give the same thing like during the launching of A900. A notebook with pic of NEX5 on the coverpage, the spec sheet of NEX5, maybe a Sony pen if there is, a Sony Alpha lineup book and feedback form. And everything will be in the paper back with Alpha logo on it...:bsmilie:

Lastly there will be buffet.... ;p

I thought such launches are good for introducing the products to existing and new users but to keep it so stealthy makes no sense. If its the gift packs, I don't mind foregoing it because my primary purpose is to go there and try it out and see if I can buy it before my coming trip. At least let us join in lah...surely they can spare a few extra cups of coffee? :sweat:

Once they found lvl 1 was too crowded, then informed all the guest shift to lvl 2..:angry:

But 2nd floor still same @ pack like satin fish..:thumbsd:
