Thanks bro for the compliment......but i think i still got a long way b4 i can become like alot of pros here......
cool. By the way, anyone know what's a good deal for this camera now?? I went to AP@ SLS yday. Was quoted 620 with 2G card and batt charger onli. I realise there's no canon bag kit or anything else.... Was hoping to wait for other IT fair at the end of the month but i will be outstation. Wonder if there's any better deal around?? I wanna get the wide lens too and was quoted 180. Er.. isn't there a cheaper option??
I apologise if this question has already been asked but how do I shot macro or super macro. On my previous S3, I remember that after getting the flower/insect in focus, the moment I press the shutter, the picture goes out of focus. It was very frustrating.
Do I use manual focus? Do I put the lens very close to the subject for stand a bit far and zoom in?
p.s. if anyone getting the camera without the kit bag, i have an extra for sale.
Just keep shooting and learn from mistakes, It can really help u a lot.
When i got mine several mths ago b4 GST raise, was $710 with 2GB SD, kit bag and 4AA GP rechargeables with charger.
I also got the wide-conversion lens @ $180.
Thanks. Anyway I went to AP to get it. BUT, being a newbie with camera, somehow, I have problem with it. Firstly, the FLASH when i push it up to use, it doesn't flash at all. I am setting it to AUTO mode so it should FLASH, right? Secondly, is this a battery drainer??? I put in normal Energizer Alkaline batts.. and less than a few shots it will say that BATT is FLAT!!!! :dunno:
Bro if u wanna get the flash to fire regardless of lighting conditions u should put the flash to manual mode instead of auto. Secondly regarding the batteries u should get at least a set of 2300mah MiHi batteries instead of normal alkaline batts(they don't last especially if the flash is being fired constantly) I m using a set of 2500mah MiHi batts with occasional firing of the flash they normally last me at least a good 300 to 400 shots B4 the batt low icon appears. Do pls go through the instruction manual of the camera....i spent 2 weeks on it and doing research on CS and googling for terms in the manual that i m not familiar with. That is the only way to learn bro.........Happy shooting.......
