Yummy egg-coated fried rice!!! I love fried rice, just that I can't understand why those coffee shop Ze-Char cant do it properly Worst still all those stalls near my home in Bishan uses Vegetarian Char Siew....Sianz....but this fried rice is of good quality!!:bigeyes:;p

fried rice my favourite too, ttz y you'll see all kind of fried rice in my thread.
Luckily the ze-char stall here at my place serve pretty good yang zhou fried rice as well. (And the restaurent next to my company as well!) :thumbsup:

Good for you. I went to a Country Club Chinese Restuarant in Tuas and they served me fried rice with vegetarian Char Siew too....

Ok, u make your order, get your number, and wait.

Yeah, they are served with Heinz's chilli sauce!!!

Here's the Chilli Beef Cheese Fries... (Well, I maybe cheapo, but i still prefer the Taco Bell's version ;p)

The Mega burger. It's rare that I feel full after a burger... this is... more filling than Whopper!

Overall, it's still taste burger... big but normal. Cheers!

1st dining at PASTA de WARAKU
Good service, food above average.
(WARAKU is as good too).

Salad - No dressing, just vinegar, a bit of German style.

Squid ink sauce pasta... a bit fishy... hehe

wahu Okonomiyaki Pizza - Taste more like okonomiyaki (Hmm... talk about okonomiyaki, next time I'll check out the Nanja Monja one)

Hamburg Pasta - The hamburg is really tender and juicy, however, the sauce is just way too normal.

Salmon with Cheese - Erm... taste good but, it's normal.

Overall, it was a very satisfying dining experience. Cheers!

here goes:
1) This particular one is from Pasta de Waraku @ Marina Square. Actually, a better one which I had is at Tapas Tree @ Clark Quay.
2) I'm using LX-2 for the Waraku series, hence the closer focus distance when I use the Macro focus mode.

NYDC Midnight eatout

Went to Oosh but they stopped serving food from 11:15pm onwards.
Was starving to death, gave up and went to NYDC @ HV.

Chilli Tuna Spaghetti

My Happy Kitchen Recipe:

Spaghetti for 1 serving
Ayam Brand Chilli Tuna - 1 can
Tomato Paste - 100g
Sugar - 1/2 tea spoon
Salt - 1/2 tea spoon
Olive Oil - 1 tea spoon

1) Boil water, put in 1 tea spoon of Olive Oil and 1/2 tea spoon of salt.
2) Put in spaghetti and cook to al dante state. (With a small white dot in the spaghetti.)
3) Stir fry chilli tuna and tomato paste, add in 1/2 tea spoon of sugar.
4) Rinse spaghetti with cold water, serve on a white plate (personal preference )
5) Sprinkle a little parsley flakes on top.

Walaaa!




Carbonara - Non-Itallian style

Spaghetti for 2 servings
Sausages x 2 cut to slices
Bacon x 6 stripes cut to small slices
Cream 100g
Milk 100g
Pepper
Salt
Butter
Corn powder

1) Cook spaghetti to al-dente state
2) Fry sausages and bacon with butter, then add in milk and a little corn powder.
3) Cook until the sauce is boiled, then add in cream and cook until it thicken.

NOTE: Italian style doesn't use cream, they use egg instead.

Spent an afternoon at this new Japanese makan place last Saturday
This restaurant actually combined 6 kinds of unique japanese cuisine in one place.
This round, I tried only 3 types.
Food wasn't too bad, but it does lose out to those specialized dining place.
