I'm interested in the Vivitar 100mm f3.5 macro (1 set) How much are you selling?:)
Sadly as I have only 1 set, I think I'll want to keep this as I don't have a 100mm macro. The lens focuses to 1:2 and one needs to add the matched close-up lens to achieve 1:1. This is the same lens as the Pentax 100mm f3.5 macro. I have 2 sets in Minolta MD and 1 set in Nikon AF mount for the Vivitar 100mm f3.5 macro. Just to give you an idea...

Nvm then. You come 1st;) If you have any of those 1:1 close-up lens let me know. I'll love to get 1:)

Very nice shots. The colors are pretty good (based on center crop). Love to see how it is compared to FA 43:D

Thanks :) I kinda like the colors it produces too. Will do some comparison w/ the FA43 when I get time ...

So you are the one that got the only copy! :D
Happy shooting! Hope to read up on your comparison soon... though i can't afford it or it's not available anymore... :'(

Yeah, I conttacted the seller the first thing I saw it at the b&s forum. Just wanna have a Voigtlander lens ...

The ba-cho-mee makes me hungry... . Very nice pictures... does it have macro... the hibiscus looks really close.

Thanks :) It doesn't do macro or close-up at all, the min focus distance is 40cm. I wish it were 30 or 25cm though ;p

When the lens was reserved almost immediately, I knew it was you :)

I have the M42 version from chiif, the official Cosina Voigtlander dealer here. It is one of my favourite lens... and it poisoned me deeper to get a 180mm APO-Lanthar one too... haha. Aiming for the 125mm APO-Lanthar later.

Really? ;) I didn't know I'd see this one at the b&s forum at all actually. Been looking for one at a reasonable price for quite some time already ...

I almost got the 125/2.5 macro (in PK/A mount too), but decided not to because I think the DFA100 is more than good enough to me, and it's a lot smaller/lighter :D

Congrats bro on your new purchase. The lens looks like a keeper. If you ever want to let go of it, can give me a buzz. :bsmilie:

BTW I have secured the stock of a lot of Vivitar Series 1 lenses in a liquidation sale. I will post what I have available once I take an inventory check.

Thanks :) I've got a couple of S1 lenses before, very good build quality. Good luck in your sales.

Really nice colors as usual in all your photographs. Could you share your processing technique? Did you take them all in jpeg, all set to default? By the way, what made you get K10D again? I would be interested to know. Sorry for too many questions.

Thanks.

My post processing is quite simple, mostly just some level and curve adjustment, some photos need exposure adjustment, and some on colors.

But for these photos, the PPing is very minimal. Yes, I took these testing photos in jpg, camera default setting (all at the middle, natural color setting).

Why I got K10D again? It's simple, K10D is a better camera after my own comparison ;) Had to buy a K100D to fully test it out before I came to this conclusion :)
