Hi newbie here & newbie using SLR camera..trying to learn some shot..using canon 60D;p

Hi and welcome! :) First of all, pleasing photos to the eyes at least.

One important aspect to landscape photography is the DOF. Im quite sure you realised your shots are generally soft, probably due to the aperture used. Do try to use aperture from at least an 8 to 11 for your landscape shots. You will notice very nice starburst. Once u used small aperture, shutter speed tends to be slower, which helps in smoothening of those water and reflections. For others your shots may seem overexposed by 1/3 stop or so but its fine for me. Once you've made your way up do go explore digital blending and HDR. Simple composition for landscapes you may try include rule of third, leading line and symmetry
