Calling the rest of the ClubSnappers.... Yes, i mean YOU, come join us in ClubSNAP Blood Donnation call at 3pm today, my contact is

Thanks guys. The injured is my colleague too.....really thanks for all this wonderful help.

Really touching to see everyone willing to help. Although I don't really know him very well, no way we are going to see him go without a fight. So I really appreciate all these help here.

Thanks again

I went there today. Around 4:30 p.m. (yes, they closed at this time, normally for weekdays) but still a lot of volunteers came and waited for blood donation.

Too bad I have been to Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand recently, therefore I CANNOT donate blood for 3 years. ;( (reason given is Malaria )

The latest news I got from them is that they have enough blood for your friend. Keep us update. Usually they would not have so many donor but today, a lot! :gbounce:

Hope your friend will recover soon!

May your friend be able to pull this crisis.... :)

Although I can't donate blood (I'm A+, and I'm eating anti malaria pills now), if there's any more needs, I'll ask around... :)

for your information. Those who are taking malaria pills, ARE NOT allowed to donate blood within 3 years! That is what I found out! ;(

excellent, we should have a regular blood donation exercise by CS ... help keep the blood stocks well replenished..
Not just accident victims can benefit, even burns victims, haemophiliacs and other diseases requiring blood or blood product transfusions will need this gift of life too. Keep it up!

yes...more than enough for him already....even for the 3rd operations.

heard that there was 60L donated to him (when he need 50L only)

if one person can give 1/2L...which means more than 120 person donated.

now let's hope he will recover soon

For those who missed out the fun of giving blood , you may
head down to the blood bank near outram park MRT.

Your gift means a lot to others who need blood as well (on a regular basis or ad hoc).

do check out whether you are eligible before donating.

You may also consider organ pledges in the meantime.

regards,
argent2

p.s. wai, sorry for 'hijacking' the thread.. but i feel it's important to let people know they can save other lives too..even though blood donated is enough for one person, there are lots of other lives still on the waiting list...every effort counts.
