Kids are always among of my favourite subjects when I travel in Bhutan it was no exception.

This little girl's ornate jewellery caught my eye. Olympus C3040

This was a difficult one to photograph. The shy daughter of a police officer. She would disappear behind her father whenever I attempted to take a shot. This one was the best from a sequence of 4 shots. Olympus C3040

Thanks for the comments living h2o, yes he was crying at the time we visited the shop. His eyes are still a little red from crying.

Another little girl. Her family does gold mining in Mongolia. They are what the locals call Ninja Miners. There is a photo of her family working here. She was playing by the side when I saw her.

Here's one of a young Bhutanese monk. Taken at Tango Monastery. It takes about 1.5 hours climb to reach the monastery. Surrounded by the low clouds, this place is especially beautiful in the morning. Olympus C3040
