Piazza San Marco or St Mark's Square in Venice is a great place to capture kids and families having fun. You can buy some bird seeds and feed the thousands of pigeons around there. The moment these pegions spot the seeds in your hand ... they will come swarming over you. Its a paradise for candids. Here the 35-70/2.8 was magical.

The adults had fun too. This guy was trying to feed the pigeons by lying down and spreading the birdfeed on himself (negative demostration). Within seconds he was swamed. 35-70/2.8

This will be my last image post for this thread. I have a couple of trips coming up and if I can capture enough decent images I will start a new thread to share them. To close I thought it appropriate to post some local shots so I took my camera out for a walk at east coast this morning. These are taken with AIS 28mm f2 .... still learning this lens.

Thanks for sharing Colin. You should have asked to have your photo taken with him first then get your camera autographed :cool:
